Description

Non-firing collector's replica of the diecast Colt Navy 1851 cowboy revolver by Gonher, with brown and nickel finish. This cap-firing toy revolver features a loading gate and rotating cylinder for 12-shot ring caps (not included) and delivers authentic Old West sound and mechanical action with every trigger pull. The durable metal construction and period-correct external detailing make it ideal for imaginative play, Western costume props, theatrical productions, and collector displays.

The original Colt 1851 Navy Revolver, designed by Samuel Colt between 1847 and 1850, became one of the most popular percussion cap revolvers of the mid-19th century. Its .36 caliber, six-round capacity, and octagonal barrel made it a favourite among civilians, lawmen, and military officers during the American Civil War and the Western frontier era. Notable users included Wild Bill Hickok, Robert E. Lee, and numerous cavalry units. This Gonher diecast Colt Navy 1851 reproduction faithfully recreates the 1851 Navy's classic profile and external detailing for collectors, historical displays, reenactment, film, and themed décor.
